Real Story ·
The Day Before · India Side Ceremony
Two days, two sides of the same border ceremony.
One day before entering Pakistan, on 16/12/2023, Tuzi was still in India, near Amritsar. She bought a package to join the Wagah-Attari border ceremony from the India side. The crowd, chants, flags, and soldiers’ movements created a powerful atmosphere of national pride and border theatre.
The next day, 17/12/2023, after being held for hours at the India exit side, Toyotaki finally crossed through the gate into Pakistan. By coincidence, the ceremony audience was already seated again — but this time Tuzi saw the border from the Pakistan side.
That made the memory unusual: the same ceremony, two consecutive days, from two different countries. It was not planned as a comparison, but the road gave her one.

One ceremony, two perspectives.
Tuzi later made a YouTube archive to remember this rare experience: seeing the Wagah-Attari ceremony from the India side on 16/12/2023, then entering Pakistan and seeing it again from the Pakistan side on 17/12/2023.
Border Ceremony · Pakistan Side
The audience was already seated.
The daily Wagah Border ceremony was already gathering its crowd. This clip preserves the colour, music, flags, and audience energy from the Pakistan side.
Crossing Moment · First Video
Toyotaki entered the ceremonial path.
This first crossing moment shows the border space already full of attention. Toyotaki moved slowly through it — not as part of the ceremony, but as a traveller finally released into Pakistan.
Crossing Moment · Second Video
A once-in-a-lifetime spotlight.
The second crossing moment continues the slow passage. After the delay, the road opened, the crowd was already there, and Toyotaki crossed into Pakistan under a very unusual kind of attention.
After the Border · Lahore
Flowers after the long border day.
That night, Tuzi parked outside Shelter Homes Lahore. On 18/12/2023, after the heavy border day, local people welcomed her with flowers.
English Memory Summary
Released at 3:30.
On 17/12/2023, Tuzi attempted to exit India and enter Pakistan through the Wagah / Attari Border. Because she had not received an India immigration entry stamp when returning from Nepal, she was held for several hours at the India exit side.
Around 3:30pm, she was finally released toward Pakistan. The timing became extraordinary because Tuzi had watched the Wagah-Attari ceremony from the India side on 16/12/2023, then crossed into Pakistan on 17/12/2023 and saw the ceremony again from the Pakistan side. Toyotaki slowly passed through that charged ceremonial space, not as part of the show, but as a campervan finally allowed to cross into the next country.
Heart Statement
I was not part of the ceremony. But for a few slow minutes, Toyotaki entered Pakistan under the border’s spotlight.
