5/6 — rushing toward the Latvia customs route.

5 June 2024，我离开 Poland，继续往 north 走， rushing to Latvia customs route，准备从指定方向进入 Russia。

因为 Russia e-visa 有指定的 entering and exit customs， 路线不能随便走。 所以这一段不是普通 sightseeing， 而是带着时间、边境和 route restriction 的赶路。

Kaunas

A German couple and a strong expedition camper.

5/6 overnight at Kaunas, Lithuania。 在那里，我遇到一对来自 Germany 的夫妇。 他们的 expedition camper 很强悍， 像一台真正为了 long-distance overland life 而存在的车。

Toyotaki 停在旁边，看起来很小， 但也很勇敢。 这个画面让我觉得很有趣： 每一个 overlander 都带着不同版本的 home 在路上。 有些 home 很 heavy、很 powerful； 有些 home 像 Toyotaki，一路轻轻小小地撑过去。

A quiet church parking night at Žemaičių Kalvarija.

6 June 2024，我 overnight at the parking area near the Basilica of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Žemaičių Kalvarija。

在赶往 Latvia and Estonia opening before the Russia route 之前， 这里给了 Toyotaki 一个安静的 sleeping area。 有时候，church parking 不只是 parking。 它是边境之前的一口气。

After the Poland waiting days for the Russia e-visa, Tuzi moved north through Lithuania. On 5 June 2024, she rushed toward the Latvia customs route needed for the designated Russia entry path and overnighted in Kaunas, where she met a German couple travelling in a powerful expedition camper.

On 6 June, Toyotaki rested near the Basilica of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Žemaičių Kalvarija. This was not a long sightseeing chapter, but a bridge chapter: Poland waiting behind, Latvia and Estonia ahead, and Russia still waiting through designated customs.

Lithuania did not open as a long stay. It opened as a bridge — from Poland waiting days toward the Latvia and Estonia crossing, and then toward the Russia route that had to be entered carefully.
